On Friday 26th June, following the Annual PRUsAP conference, colleagues from across the sector came together to celebrate the achievements of the last year in PRUs and Alternative Provision Academies.

Each year PRUsAP awards individuals, teams and leaders in the following categories:

  • AP Practitioner - Teacher

  • AP Practitioner - Support and Intervention

  • AP Leader

  • AP Team

  • The Eugene Brunet Innovation in AP Award

  • Outstanding contribution to AP

The first four categories are open to practitioners in state-funded alternative provision, and in each category we recognise the person or team who has excelled above all others in the past year, along with a highly commended individual or team.

The Eugene Brunet award recognises innovation and impact, taking into consideration nominations from across the education landscape, not just from those working in state-funded AP.

Finally, the outstanding contribution to AP Award, celebrates an individual who has had a profound impact on the alternative provision sector throughout their career.
